| Larry’s career commenced with what is now Price Waterhouse Coopers in Toronto, where he obtained his CA designation.
He accepted an appointment in their Bermuda office, where he spent five years dealing with a variety of offshore entities – principally reinsurance companies. While in Bermuda he joined a predecessor firm of Ernst & Young, and became a partner at the age of 29. His career took him to UK where he joined the predecessor firm of Mazars, a predominately European accounting and consulting firm. Larry became a forensic and litigation support partner in their London office, eventually handing over all client work to accept the appointment as the National Marketing Partner of this 20 office firm. Larry spent more than 14 years with the firm during which time he moved on to increasingly senior roles including appointments to the firm’s London Management Board and a member of the International Marketing and Business Development Committee. Larry returned to Canada in 1999 and founded Promarc. Larry has helped clients in a wide range of mandates. These include: marketing and business development strategy and planning; corporate identity and branding; mentoring senior level partners on both practice management and business development; coaching fee-earners on business development; proposal response advice; and assessment and positioning of in-house marketing talent. In the summertime Larry’s spare time is spent boating in Muskoka and BBQing for family and friends. In the wintertime, he says he hibernates with work. |
